Are you utilizing FREE tools to maximize your profits?

It's been a long time since I have dedicated any time to this blog, and I have thought about shutting it down however a little angel approached me today and suggested I get back on it.  So here I am.  The first order of business, utilizing FREE tools to maximize your exposure and profits.

Ladies and gentleman, we all are familiar with the tough times our economy is facing every day.   It's no mystery that even some of the higher paid performers are resulting to having more of an appearance in social media to maintain their level of industry relevance and presence.  There was once a time where performers made more than enough money to hire a team of people to do everything for them so they could show up, get paid to fuck and go home.  Those days have long disappeared and we are now in the dawn of "do it yourself" to save money and keep profits in your own pocket.

Take a moment to think to yourself, before investing precious time into your endeavors, whether you are willing to dedicate the time it will take to follow these important steps.  Time is definitely of the essence and every minute counts.  If you are, continue on - get your pen and paper and prepare yourself to do a lot of reading and research.  The best way to improve your craft is to follow behind someone who has already mastered it.

1.  GOOGLE is your best friend.  Google FREE tools to promote your website.  What you will find are endless pages of forum posts, and other bloggers giving you more advice than a therapist.  Take the time to look through MORE than just page 1.  Your initial search isn't going to always turn up the best results, you are going to have to continue looking page after page.  There's SO much FREE information out there, USE IT!

2.  Don't be afraid to ask other people in the industry.  You are going to get shut down by a lot of people, but there is the chance that ONE person is willing to share even the most minimal piece of information that can be useful to you.

3.  Don't be afraid to spend a little bit of money for a consultation.  Have someone review your website, and discuss what you are already doing.  A consultation could eliminate pointless attempts at things that don't work or aren't useful for your business.  Usually a person like myself will charge $20/hr to give you a skype consult.  I can (in most cases) give you more information than you will know what to do with in that hour.  Priceless information obtained from experience is always worth a small fee.

4.  Consider your expenses.  A lot of webmasters shell out big money each month to host their sites, and run them, marketing, and various tools.  Find out what is driving your traffic to your site, and KEEP those tools.  Get rid of what isn't.

5.  Lastly, join free boards, forums, web rings, social networks that discuss topics of interest pertaining to your business.  You may have an experience to share with someone that will be helpful and vice versa.  Don't act like you know everything.  Be honest, ask questions, and LEARN!

There's more where that came from and in much greater detail!  If you wish to do a phone session, skype or online session - email platinumpuzzy@gmail.com
